When I started out in my first incarnation (career ) after years of being a teller in the bank - I trained to be a public relations, media and events person. Initially, I trained myself - lucky I was 'street smart', then studied and taught public relations and journalism at the Perth College (TAFE ) which at that time was a unit in the Bachelor of Arts course.   With much business 'know how' I was able to grow enough to build a consultancy in Perth and many years later a small practice in Sydney. 

I flip back and forth a bit while telling you this story as I find it hard to write about myself, so forgive me.    Thirty years ago I had a major road accident with a police car.   The third accident in a week ...it was big...was someone trying to tell me something!!  I have always had much to do and been in a hurry to do it, so it is not surprising that this happened.  The third and last major accident left me in a large brace supporting a very damaged neck and spine, with shoulders and left arm that had no feeling.

 

This, like all major traumas was life changing and with the many months I spent at home recovering and analysing my life, I realised something was missing.  I did not know what it was at the time, I had been too busy to notice and I thought I had everything I could possible need, I was lucky.   I just knew that this could not be all there was too life ... mine was extremely busy with travel overseas and the usual social events that went with the positions and life in the fast lane I existed in.

 

A year  or so after this accident when the doctors had done all they could for me - I still could not move my neck , shoulder or arm - a long time friend called into my home and said ' you are coming with me' she took me to a faith healer ! in Perth, Western Australia.   I was shocked on arrival at her house ...I had expected the long caftan and silver ball, all of that, but no, she lived in a glamous home in the best suburb in Perth, with a high profile husband and family and she just looked like me... normal!! 

I was very sceptical about her at first, as I had no education in this field of healing and did not know what to expect..so fear entered... though when pain comes into it you do anything to become pain free...I was pleasantly surprised, it was amazing,   I could feel the energy and she did not even touch my body.

 

Energy Medicine (previously known as spiritual healing - spiritual healing just means working with the whole person, their body, mind, emotions and spirit, that is all- it has nothing to do with religion)  it was rarely heard of in Perth and never mentioned back then - well not in the circles I moved in.  After a year and a half of seeing this healing lady once a week my body slowly repaired itself cell by cell, which is how deep this energy work is, and that left me with no trace of the damage that had been caused.   This sacred 'work ' -  if it involves something as serious as my injury takes time to rebuild the body.

 

How lucky I was to find her!  so I say to you, give this 'work 'a try!  there is no need to have any funny feelings about it, those feelings just comes from lack of education which can bring up some fear which is not justified...I would not be involved in it , if there was anything weird!  This wonderful work is all about trust and love so feeling comfortable about the healer working with you is very important.  After a session you will have a happier frame of mind, feel calm and peaceful on the inside, able to handle huge amounts of stress with ease, it boosts your immune system, balances your entire system giving you greater energy and it is anti-aging...that can't be all bad.

 

After my injuries were well and truly healed, I was then able to set up my consultancy and re-start my work as a public relations consultant.  We worked with high profile corporations, and never had to tender - the work just flowed in..  We successfully built corporate profiles and positioned our blue chip clients using all facets of media, as well as marketing and co-ordinating major events nationally and internationally.

 

 When at one of my client's offices (a women's hospital) one of the secretaries became ill and became slumped over her desk right in front of me - I cannot tell you exactly what took place over the next few minutes, but there were the other secretaries and doctors walking past watching me and it was right outside the director's office - it totally threw me - all I could thinki about was..this is the end of my contract!  but she was healed and the problem has not recurred - it was profound, ( we all cried and the doctors scuttled down the hallway ) -  I was as shocked as she was - it was then that I knew my life was about to change forever. I did not go to my meeting with the director, I went home to comtemplate what had just happened.

Even though as a child I felt people's sadness, pain and in some cases despair, I had no idea one day it would lead me to discover my soul's path and purpose. I have a truly great passion for this work and work every day towards being the purest and clearest channel for healing energy that I can be.   

 

Through this work and my travels, I have met many beautiful people from all walks of life.  I find it hard sometimes to believe that people can get in such a state of dis-ease, even though I have been there; burnt out and empty, lacked excitment about work and I would wonder what I was doing ! and why I was doing it !, nothing seemed to flow anymore, all the energy had gone out of it and of course, how negative it all was !   Can you relate to any of this?  What do you think that negativity will do to your body?  Most people never take the opportunity to look inside and discover what is missing .  It is so easy to rectify, with medittation and just a couple of healing sessions, you will feel so very different about your life and read to move foraward again.  Often these very stuck emotions that we allow to affect us, lead us into mental trauma or physical illness.   This trauma then forces us to stop and realise -  it is time to take stock of our lives - before we attract the very illness we do not want .
 

When I first started healing I would work with close friends, trying to understand more and more about what was happening to me in a healing sense, as there were no books and no-one I could ask then.   I was always worried about my public relations clients finding out and that they would think I was some kind of weirdo! when really I was just open to all there is...   I was concerned that this would affect my professional relationships, so I kept it all very close to my heart...how silly was I !   I was truly a split person, living two lives...

 

 

I became ill  -  I looked for someone who could help me, my corporate work and my healing work were too much and living this double life was not a good mix particularly, the way I was doing it... at this point doctors were not able to do anything for me...so I was taken to the healing sanctuary in Brazil by a dear friend.  I attended the Casa de Dom Inacio and just one visit was enough for me, it changed my life , my attitude, my way of being, as it does for all who attend.    It was amazing, I had seen nothing like it... I could see the improvement in people I had got to know,  there truly was a miracle a day - thousands from all over the world attended each week .  Those that I met , I could see their attitude change and their hearts open, then they would return home to the countries they had come from - Russia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Norway, Australia,USA and many other countries, too many to mention here... even people whose doctors back home had given them only weeks to live with their major illnesses - they decided to make the trip and they truly seemed to improve in just weeks... what a place!.. 

 

This first visit secured my desire to be part of this healing modality.  I had found my life's purpose. I work constantly as well as when in the intense energy of Abadiania, Brazil - to clear my body, mind, emotions and energy field of everything that may be negative and most particulary when I was sadly in a toxic marriage  a few years ago - it was the most negative thing I had ever experienced, but my soul must have chosen to have that learning experience.    It affected my very being, though, I was able to keep myself clear and together with continual healings so I was able to do my 'work'.  It was not easy living in that situation, many of you reading this will know that deep dark feeling of despair, where there seems to be no way out - it can be at work or play or in relationship or marriage.   Negativity is not discrimitory...it simply makes you very ill.  Remember never negative always keep positive.

 

My journey to become an energy medicine practitioner could fill a book, but I just wanted to give you a taste of the ride I have taken on this journey and to offer thanks and blessings to all those who have assisted me along the way. 

 

It has been ten and a half years and after many many trips to the sanctuary in Brazil I feel I have gained so much growth for myself and the hundreds of people I have taken.   It has been an amazing journey, one of many extremes, elation, love, deep sadness, joy, twists and turns, so much travel and so many changes to the way I work as an energy medicine practitioner...all too wondeful to express.

 

We have to remember that this 'work', energy medicine, is all about vibrations/frequencies, as that is all we are, energy and water, that is what we exist in, on and around us and everything in our lives is in continual motion, whether we can feel it or not we are changing internally and externally.  Just like the weather (energy), our bodies (energy), the planet (energy), and the special sanctuary in Brazil with its intense energy vortex larger and more intense than Lourdes... this journey of ours is about life's lessons, compassion and love for others and all animals and nature. 

 

This sounds very much about me and it is - only so you can understand a little more about me and the work I do. It  is a great privledge for me to work with people and their beautiful and sometimes not so beautiful energy fields - to me it tells so much about the person's life, their lifestyle and the most sacred part of their being, their soul.
